What
Exactly Does Prediabetes Mean?
back to articles
In the
previous article, I mentioned that prediabetes was a recent term
created to give people more of a scare than something like "your
sugar is high." Since it sounds much like “diabetes,”
people should stand up and take careful notice that there is a real
problem.
If
you have recently heard those words pronounced by a doctor, then
you need to know that it is a warning - a serious warning. It means
that you are on your way toward becoming diabetic, but the good
news is that you do not yet have full diabetes.
This
means that there is still time for you to make some quick changes.
Since most people who do take quick steps are able to divert diabetes
altogether, or at least delay it for many years, it certainly is
to your advantage to begin to do something about it as quickly as
you can.
But
what do you need to do to turn your health around and avoid diabetes?
How much weight do you need to lose? What other changes do you need
to make? How can you navigate all the confusing medical jargon and
advice to make the right decisions for your health? How can you
learn to avoid a lifetime of diabetes?
The
answer to these and other questions have been carefully provided
for you with all the information you need to know in my new Ebook.
In this most comprehensive Ebook ever written, there are many chapters
showing you what you need to do in the way of foods you can eat,
tips on how to get started with a useful exercise program, things
to avoid, how to deal with gestational diabetes, and so much more.
